Oasis Youth Ministry

#Survivors

We are #survivors constantly trying to survive the trials of worshiping our Savior Jesus Christ in our world today. Some followers aren’t as fortunate. Even today, followers are still persecuted for proclaiming their faith.

(Acts 6:8-Acts 7:8-60)

Even though you are young, that doesn’t mean you can’t make a difference in the life of others through Jesus Christ. If God can use some lost donkeys or direct two unyoked newborn calves to Beth-shemesh to fulfill God’s will, He sure can use you! (1 Samuel 9:3-10:1, 1 Samuel 6:1-12)

In 1 Timothy there are many lessons of careful counsel and guidance as Paul sent many letters to his young disciple ministering at the Church of Ephesus. If you are young in the age or faith, follow the example of godly Christian leaders like Timothy who imitated Paul’s life. A huge influence on Christianity came from the letters Paul wrote. If you are a parent, remind yourself of the profound effect a Christian community can have on family members.

We also take time to learn and grow from one another’s experiences with God. No matter the age, all are invited to the Youth Room located upstairs in the fellowship hall. Every second Wednesday of the month, a church member teaches a lesson, and we discuss it together with elders, young adults, and teenagers alike.
